3 Feb 2012: Simon Wills, former HSO trombone player
and composer of Truffaldino,
dropped in briefly on a recent HCO rehearsal in
between conducting performances of his new opera ‘The Stolen Smells’
in Lucerne, Switzerland.
His schedule in Lucerne means he cannot be with us for the world premiere performance
but he was happy to hear Truffaldino in rehearsal and
provided some helpful performance hints.
